Control kit, from the measuring
and from the self make-up for screenprinters of industrials, graphics and
textiles.
1- HALFTONE TEST Basic.
Film designed to know the limits of traditional printed halftone.
Helps to quantify the different parameters determining the print quality
The incidences of :
stenciling, fabrics, inks, dilution, printing speed, squeegee and flood-bar
blades (shore
degree,
inclination, speed, sharpeningÉ), off-contact,É will be easily
seen with the RASTER TEST.
The word "basic" is not pejorative, some prints need coarse dots (30 to
65/inch) (12 to 26/cm).
2- HALFTONE TEST Advanced.
Same description but for dot
counts from 55 to 90 line/inch (22 to 36/cm).
3- HALFTONE TEST Expert.
To control halftones from 90
to 150 dot/inch (36 to 60/cm).
4- FM TEST Stochastic
(or random)
Dito with stochastic dots from
60 to 120 microns.
7- FONT TEST
To estimate the capacity for
printing of negative and positive texts, of different fonts and different
bodies.
8- LINE TEST
To visualize the difficulty
of printing negative or positive lines and curves.
Measurement of saw-teeth. To
compare direct emulsions and capillary films.
10- COLOR TEST
Re-usable photographic films
to be used as test strip in the margin of the printed image, and allow
you tocontrol the register, the densities, the color superpositions, the
dot gain and loss for each colour.
11- GARNAUD MULTI TEST
Regrouped under a reduced format,
they are the most useful tools.
They allow the screen printer
to rapidly quantify the parameters which are decisive in order to produce
a
quality print.
14- DOT TEST
5 types of halftones on the
same film : round, elliptical, square, line and stochastic halftones, to
watch, together with other effects, the jumps in the color graduation
19- EUCLIDIAN TEST
To compare different halftone
rules, Euclidian and traditional (an explanation is provided).
20- EXPOSURE TEST
Extreme values to set accurately
screen lightening (what is not on the screen will not exist while printing).
