5- DOT CALCULATOR (Haltone dots count.)
Accurate measurement of the number of lines in halftone , with a precision
of one line of dot from
40 to 350 line/inch (15 to 138/cm) and their angle.
This precision tool allows you to control the degree of moire with
the MOIRE STOP.
6- MESH CALCULATOR (Screens.)
Accurate measurement of the stretched fabric, with a precision of one
thread. This precision will also help you control the moire
40 to 180/ cm (101 to 460/ inch).
13- ANGLE CALC.
A classical protractor to measure the angles of the halftone.
15- FONT CALC.
Measurements of font types for a better dialogue with the color separator.
16- X-CALC.
Ratio of enlargement to obtain the halftone rule you wish to print.
17- CONVERSION INCH/CM
In France, the color separation basic measurement is the number of
lines of dots per inch and for the fabrics, the number of threads per centimeter
(except for the metallic gauzes).
Other countries, even French speaking ones, do the opposite. This picture
allows the conversion.
18- COMPENSATOR TEST
The present "basic" version" allows the screenprinter to understand
the necessity to make some corrections on the films.
Each screenprinter will have to create his own compensation curves.
21- MESH ANGLE CALCULATOR
To match the possible inclination of the fabric on the screen, but
also to match if the warp and weft threads are perpendicular.
22- VARIABLE REGISTER
At each step during proofing, you must note every parameters.

by one.
